Confirmed that water was leaking into the vehicle onto the wire harness. Sprayed water on wires and was able to replicate engine power loss. Found water had compromised the side air bag and wire harness several connectors corroded. Could not check entire drain system without removing headliner. Discovered the sunroof had been leaking down into the car and not draining out properly on driver's side. Found driver footwell completely soaked: Carpet, liner, and carpet pad. Was leaning into the driver side on the floor to look under the dash and his elbow got wet. Bank wanted me to utilize my warranty program I had purchased with the car loan. Long story short the dealer was going to work with me to take the car back, but bank would not release title (loan is very upside down) until another mechanic looked at the car. Check engine light went off after I put gas in the car the next day. Restarted car after several minutes, all lights except check engine went off. Engine at low power, was able to drift into parking lot. When pulling into traffic from a stop, heard 3 chimes and several warning lights lit up (traction control, engine power down, check engine, service car asap). I called GMC to see if there was a way around the fee should it be a different cause(if it is, I believe it was caused by moss brothers) and they were not helpful to me at all.Īlmost a year since engine last stalled without warning (happened 3 times in about 3 months). I took it into autozone to run a diagnostics and it said 'catalyst system low efficiency' whatever they did, did not fix my car but only made it worse. So if something other than the recall is wrong, I would be willing to bet that it was due to negligence on their part. However, I did not have any other issues with my car before taking it to them. I called moss brothers to inform them of this situation, however, they told me that if I wanted to get it diagnosed and the problem is not covered under warranty, I would have to pay the diagnostic fees. It seemed fine until 1-2 days later when the check engine light came back on. I took it in to moss brothers Chevrolet to be repaired. I had a recall on a component of my catalytic converter that was causing it to move at a low efficiency. The Tolerance value you should use will depend on your image. Increasing it to 125 makes the selection fit the text more accurately: Increasing the Tolerance to 125 made the selection fit my text more accurately. In my example, I need to increase the tolerance to bring it closer to the text. Remove the selection from your document by pressing Control + D, change the Tolerance according to your own image, then create a new selection (the same way we did in step 1) until it accurately fits around your text. Increasing it will grow the selection closer to the text, whereas decreasing it will shrink it away from the text. To correct this, we’re going to adjust the Tolerance in the tool settings menu towards the top of the screen: The Tolerance setting in located in the tool settings menu towards the top of the screen.īy default, the tolerance is set to 32. There are some yellow pixels that slipped through the cracks: To verify, zoom in by holding Alt and rolling up on the mouse wheel.Īs you can see in my example, the selection isn’t exactly flush against the text. Step 2: Adjust the Tolerance setting to fit the selection to your textīefore we can delete the white background from the text to transparent, we first need to make sure that the selection is placed accurately around the text. Holding Shift allows us to add to the selection rather than replacing it: If any of your letters have negative space within them, as is the case with the letter D in my example, then you’ll have to create a selection around them as well. If you don’t hold Shift then it will remove the first selection to made and replace it with a new selection around the negative space of the letters. If any of your letters have negative space between them (like the letter D in my example) then create a selection around them as well by holding Shift and clicking on them. For you, it would be the white background of the text.Ĭlicking on it will create a selection going around the text, represented by a moving dotted line: The selection is represented by a marquee, or a moving dotted line. In my example, it would be the yellow area. Once you’ve select the Magic Wand Tool, click on the area of the image that you’d like to delete. The Magic Wand Tool is the very last tool at the bottom of the list: To access it, press W on your keyboard, then hold a click on the tool icon to bring up the submenu. In order to remove a white background from text with Photoshop, we will need to use the Magic Wand Tool, which is located in the toolbar, under a submenu for the Object Selection Tool. Step 1: Use the Magic Wand Tool to create a selection around your text 14 8 Sep 97 8 Sep 97 Superman: "Blasts From the Past: Part I" 17 9 Sep 97 9 Sep 97 Superman: "Blasts From the Past: Part II" 85 R ? 10 Sep 97 Batman: "Batgirl Returns" 84 R ? 11 Sep 97 Batman: "Deep Freeze" 27 12 Sep 97 12 Sep 97 Superman: "The Prometheon" 86 13 Sep 97 13 Sep 97 Batman: "Holiday Knights" 18 13 Sep 97 13 Sep 97 Superman: "Livewire" 20 15 Sep 97 15 Sep 97 Superman: "Identity Crisis" 1 R ? 16 Sep 97 Batman: "On Leather Wings" 4 R 7 Sep 96 17 Sep 97 Superman: "Fun and Games" 70 R ? 18 Sep 97 Batman: "House and Garden" 19 19 Sep 97 19 Sep 97 Superman: "Target" 87 20 Sep 97 20 Sep 97 Batman: "Sins of the Father" 18 20 Sep 97 20 Sep 97 Superman: "Action Figures" 23 22 Sep 97 22 Sep 97 Superman: "Double Dose" 57 R ? 23 Sep 97 Batman: "Shadow of the Bat, Part I" 61 R ? 24 Sep 97 Batman: "Shadow of the Bat, Part II" 22 R 13 Sep 97 25 Sep 97 Superman: "Speed Demons" a.k.a. # R?
